The Startup Batyar team was awarded honorary diplomas from the Lviv Regional State Administration.

Founder Nazar Podolchak and project coordinator Natalia Tsyhylyk were honored for fostering entrepreneurship and advancing STEAM education among schoolchildren in the Lviv region.

The Startup Batyar educational project and competition has been a free educational program and startup competition for six years, in which applicants from higher, pre-university, and vocational education, as well as students of secondary education institutions, participate.

Nazar Podolchak noted the team's ongoing commitment to guiding schoolchildren through all project stages and creating a strong community of future innovators.

Every year, more than 500 participants join the project, and it has also been recognized by the NAS of Ukraine for its popularization of science.

According to Natalia Tsyhylyk, students continually develop high-quality projects, improving them with mentor guidance. In 2024, the program expanded to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, engaging over 4,500 students to date.

The project is implemented with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Lviv Polytechnic National University, the ENT Center "Lviv Regional Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth", and the Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences
