The DoFamine team joins a career guidance hub for schoolchildren in Lviv.
A career guidance hub has opened at the Interregional Higher Vocational School of Motor Transport and Construction in Lviv, serving as a modern educational space that helps young people explore vocational education options.
The Polytechnics team presented a mobile simulator with a seat and controls, simulating the movement of vehicles and other objects in a safe environment.
The DoFamine mobile simulator enables students to develop and practice driving skills for various vehicles, including agricultural machinery and large trucks, by simulating real-world movement in a safe learning environment.
"The work of the career guidance hub for schoolchildren is an important step in supporting young people in choosing education and forms a positive image of vocational education. It is valuable for us to be part of the space. My team and I have received a lot of feedback that schoolchildren did not find it particularly interesting to drive different types of cars, especially trucks. Our development supports the opportunity for students to improve their skills without additional resource expenditure," shared Dmitry Dubachev, head of the DoFamine team.
The hub has eight locations where young people can practically learn about the features of various professions: a driver of motor vehicles, a mechanic for repairing wheeled vehicles, a welder, a carpenter, a machine operator, a plumber-installer, an information processing operator, and additional practical zones.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE ("Decentralization for the Development of Democratic Education"), which aims to support reforms in the education sector in Ukraine.
