DRAFF (Deeptech Revolution in the AgroFood)

Project partnerships:

The project is implemented within the framework of an international collaboration between four countries: Ukraine, Malta, Italy and Poland. The Ukrainian partner is the National University of Lviv Polytechnic.

The goal of the DRAFF program is to research and disseminate knowledge about the latest technological innovations in the field of agriculture and food systems. The project is aimed at Overcoming modern challenges of the agro-industrial complex using deep tech tools, such as automation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.

 

Project objectives for the Science Park:

  • Conduct a workshop on innovations in the agro-food sector;
  • Attract at least 200 participants to disseminate project ideas;
  • Promote knowledge transfer between experts and the target audience (students, young scientists, agricultural producers).

 

Target audience:

  • Students of technical, agricultural and engineering specialities;
  • Agricultural workers;
  • Specialists are interested in implementing innovations in the farming sector.

 

Project benefits

  • Expanding the university's expertise in the field of digital agricultural technologies;
  • Establishing international cooperation;
  • Strengthening the image of NULP as a modern educational and research centre;
  • Creating a platform for knowledge exchange between students and specialists.

 

Project effectiveness:

The project contributes to the popularisation of deep tech in the agricultural sector, enhances the professional training of students, and brings Ukrainian agricultural production closer to European standards of automation and efficiency.
