The LASER-PRO project team joined the international conference "Photonics Frontiers: Building Stronger Ecosystems Together" in Vilnius.

The LASER-PRO project team joined the international conference "Photonics Frontiers: Building Stronger Ecosystems Together" in Vilnius.

The conference brought together project teams from different countries and served as a key platform for discussing the strengthening of innovation ecosystems in the field of laser and photonic technologies, with a special emphasis on the strategic triangle comprising Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.
Civil servants, scientists, and business representatives from the partner countries participated in the discussion, outlining strategic development priorities, sharing experiences of implemented activities and projects, and presenting funding opportunities.
The Ukrainian side presented the potential of the Ukrainian laser ecosystem, providing a sectoral overview of laser technologies in Ukraine, including research centers, equipment manufacturers, integrators, and opportunities for cooperation.
The main focus of Khrystyna Kozlovska's speech, as project manager, was the disclosure of the role of SID City Scientific Park Lviv Polytechnic National University as a central hub with a full support cycle - from training to attracting funding in the field of photonics and a hybrid approach to mapping the ecosystem, combining the functional roles of organizations.
"The conference confirmed that international cooperation and investments in laser technologies are critically important for Europe. LASER-PRO continues its work aimed at deepening international cooperation and successful integration of Ukrainian high-tech solutions into the European innovation space," shared Khrystyna Kozlovska, project manager.
