Nazar Podolchak joined the Expert Council of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Lviv Region at the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
azar Podolchak joined the Expert Council of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Lviv Region at the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The purpose of the Expert Council is to establish an effective platform for dialogue, provide analytical support for regional agrarian policy, and facilitate its stable development, as well as enhance the effectiveness of programs in the agro-industrial complex and rural areas of the Lviv Region.
The main tasks of the Expert Council are:
- independent analysis of the state and trends of the sector
- development of proposals for improving existing and developing existing programs and projects in various areas, and supporting farmers
- holding expert discussions on priority topics
"For me, this is an important stage of work in the agro-industrial sector, as it will contribute to a more synergistic development of existing initiatives and projects for the development of new food products based on plant protein. As well as the development of an integrated innovation platform for the development, testing, and commercialization of plant protein products along the entire value chain - from raw materials to end consumers - with an emphasis on sustainable, regional economic development and food security," commented Nazar Podolchak.
The Tech StartUp School, SID City Scientific Park, and Lviv Polytechnic teams are participants in the consortia and working groups of the international Excel4Pro project, and Nazar Podolchak is a member of the EIT FOOD and EIT Ukraine Policy Council, as well as the EIT Ukraine Advisory Board.
This proposal will be presented at the EIT FOOD summit in October.
