The Tech StartUp School team continued its cooperation with the team of the REMARKET project: “Restoration and Empowerment through Market Access and Sustainable Economic Transformation” of Caritas Ukraine and conducted trainings in Kolomyia and Khmelnytsk
The educational program for entrepreneurs is aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, supporting new ideas, scaling and attracting financial assistance.
In Kolomyia, 25 participants joined the training, who worked on creating a business model and value proposition, discussing their own experience, challenges and opportunities.
Attention was paid to working with clients, building relationships and scaling the business. In the future, all participants continue to work on writing grant applications and business projects in order to obtain funding, expand their business and improve their products.
“The training gave entrepreneurs the opportunity not only to gain useful knowledge, but also to find like-minded people, share experiences, discuss challenges and new ideas for business development in their communities,” shares the Caritas Kolomyia team.
18 participants completed a two-day training in Khmelnytskyi. The topics of the training were marketing, building customer relationships, and scaling the customer base. Separately, the participants, together with the trainers, conducted a critical assessment of the current state of their businesses and developed development strategies in the form of business plans.
“The joint analysis of the work done, the experience that the participants actively shared, and the new knowledge that they gained are of particular value. By the way, the beneficiaries of the REMARKET project actively exchanged contacts after getting to know each other and communicating. Upon completion of the training program, all participants received certificates of successful completion of the training,” shares the Livelihood Projects team of Caritas Khmelnytskyi.
The REMARKET project is implemented with the support of Caritas Schweiz, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC – Swiss Development & Cooperation), If! Foundation, Caritas Österreich, Trocaire, Cordaid together with Caritas Ukraine.
