The SID City Scientific Park Lviv Polytechnic team received grant support to support the implementation of the West Ukraine EDIH digital platform

Together with the teams of Civitta, City Institute, IRON Cluster, West Ukraine Digital, Agency of European innovations, and EasyBusiness, we will continue developing the platform within the framework of the DIGITAL-2025-EDIH-AC-08-CONSOLIDA project.

The goal of the platform development is to effectively support the digital and "green" transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and public sector organizations in Ukraine, promoting economic growth and integration of enterprises in the regions into European markets.

On the West EDIH platform, participants will develop a network of opportunities and knowledge exchange in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the latest digital technologies.

In 2024, the Lviv Digital Innovation Hub platform was created and transformed into West Ukraine EDIH, which has already become part of a large network of digital transformation across Europe.

Our team has already engaged 300 SMEs and 20 partner organizations on the platform, of which 157 SMEs have received training and mentoring support.

The goal was to support participants in the digitalization of work processes, the development of a transformation strategy, and synergistic cooperation of departments, understanding internal and external factors.
The project application was identified as a high-quality project proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process and one that contributes to achieving the goals of the Strategic Technology Platform of Europe (STEP) after evaluation by an international group of independent experts.

STEP (Sovereignty) is a quality label awarded by the European Commission to facilitate access to funding opportunities under other Union programs covered by STEP.
